“Writing often means facing your own darkness and light.” This
caught my attention and really spoke to me because of how it was worded it was
like a song, very poetic. The way she writes about how important writing is and
what it truly means and does for us is inspiring to me and motivates me to
write more and open my heart up with no fears. “Writing is a spiritual
practice, a soul-cleansing, deep-dive into the emotions and ideas we might not
even be at first aware that we have.” That’s beautiful to read I have learned
out of experience that when there is no one to talk to when you are upset that writing
can take every bit of sorrow, fear, anger out of your body and release it into
a book you choose to open and shut. It’s the way she shows that it is a story
to tell from our soul that is raw and truly us which is super gorgeous to think
about, its true though I let out me, the true me with no worries or care about
who is reading our thinking about it, it’s my time to be set free like
meditating. The pictures that she has with some of the quotes are so relaxing
and stunning to look at and it fits so well with the quote they have chosen. The
way she writes is passionate and makes you passionate its talent. “Perhaps we
are afraid of writing because we’re afraid of knowing our own story.” Speechless
is all I can say, I really liked reading this. It made me more excited to write
and express myself through my writings.
