Madelin Crapo Period 1
I can relate a lot to the way Sarah describes writing and the role it can play in our lives. She says, 'The more we write, the better we can teach, explain, love, persuade'. I agree with this because writing provides an insight into ourselves that is totally unique. Once you write your experiences down, whether they be painful or exciting, you have a much clearer view of yourself as a person. She says, 'Words and writing are one way that we tap into our souls and our ideas-and share parts of them with other people'. Writing is exactly that, a way to tap in to our souls. A sneak peek of the emotions, aspirations, fears, regrets, and experiences that color our lives. And that is a powerful thing.

ReplyDeleteI liked how you said it was a way to express our souls. I felt the same way while reading the article. I felt like how you explained its as "sneak peek of the emotions, aspirations, fears, regrets, and experiences that colors our lives" I felt like this was a good way to explain it and I feel like the last part is so true that our writing is our experiences that color our lives.
