"Writing lets me figure out what it is that I'm thinking, by putting words onto pages and telling the story of my life, my experiences, and the world as I see it around me."
I liked this article because i can relate to it, on a different level though. shes passionate about writing, like i am passionate about photography. Photography helps me figure out what i am thinking and feeling. Pictures help me to tell my story, as words help her to tell hers. i believe that words, pictures or even playing a sport can help people out with figuring out who they are.
"When we look at ways to talk to other people and develop communications (and stories) that teach, share, and explain—or moreover, that persuade—it often requires a deep understanding of the self, as well as a deep understanding of another person."
i like this quote, because in my perspective of what it says you need to know who you are writing for. you talk to your parents different than how you talk to your friends, and its the same with writing. when i am texting my friends, i get very lazy and write abbreviation and words such as 'u', 'y', 'bc'. i would never write like this for one of my teachers in a paper.

I can relate to this because i also have a love for photography, and taking pictures helps me describe who i am and writing for some people is their way of describing themselves.
