Taylor T Period 5

Patrick Madden's essay begins with an experience with his professor. “What
will you do when you run out of experiences to write about? I answered him by saying something about having children, how they were a renewable source of writing material, with
their quirks and insights and inscrutable ways."  I love how Madden describes children, with their quirks, insights and inscrutable ways and how it is a renewable source of writing material. Essentially Patrick is saying, write like a child, he wants us to tell our story with no filter and let whatever comes to mind fill the pages.  I enjoyed reading Madden's essay because he makes writing sound creative and fun, how writing should be.
